Highlights are five large sand sculptures that display symbols of Rayong, including a sea turtle, a literature mermaid, and fruits.
There is also a 7×10-metre sand sculpture that depicts His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his favourite dog Tongdaeng, made by the Chanatip Team. The sculpture drew many tourists who took selfies with it.
Kachen said seafood restaurants on the beach also offered discounts during the festival that lasts until Sunday.
